Court fees are $4.00 for residents
and $5.00 for non-residents of Southlake. This pays for 2 hours

STC NEWS & EVENTS

Tournaments and Events

We hosted the Texas Open B/G 12's national tournament Aug 2-6. Over 100 players from around the US came to play in this event.

The STC Summer Mid-Cities is Saturday, August 21. Juniors can sign up now on line for this summer ending junior tournament. There is a Quick Start 8U and 10U for the first time in this event.

Thanks to 210 players who competed in the SOS Tennis Benefit. The three day event raised $32K for SafeHaven. The proceeds will allow SafeHaven to upgrade the shelter hotline, which received over 50,000 calls last year.

Congratulations to all the players who competed in the Southlake ZAT. Over 560 players from around the state came to play in our 2 day tournament, which used 9 different sites and had over 800 matches.

		FALL is Here with TEAM TENNIS!!!
		The fall program for juniors is now posted on line. We have completely revamped our junior program to better meet the needs of our students. We are including more match play and focusing on a club level and a performance level. Check out our schedule for junior development classes using the new USTA Quick Start format. Designed to get players hitting right away, this format “right sizes” the game using balls, nets, racquets and courts sized to the age of the player. See the links to the left for more information.

Fall League Play

STC Adult League play begins the week of Sept. 6 for all leagues. Please check with the front desk for the new Monday Night Men’s League starting in the fall. Sign-ups will be taken until the League is full.

Upcoming Events
Our new courts are almost finished. We are waiting for landscaping, lights and fences to be completed. We will be using the new courts this fall. Thanks to everyone who supported our new courts by attending the 10th Anniverary Gala, which raised over $17K towards our new courts. We should be playing on courts 14-19 by the first week in September! We will be renumbering the courts to make it easier for players to find the right one, with Center Court becoming Court #1!
